1996 MACEDON Blanc de Blanc
This is the third release of our methode champenoise sparkling wine. Having spent a total of 6 years on yeast lees it has developed the complex bread dough, (yeast autolysis) characters and ultra fine bead so sought after in good Champagne.
The Chardonnay fruit is still fresh and it has a lovely crisp finish.
($45.00 - limit two bottles per person, cellar door only)

2000 Chardonnay
One of the richest and most complex Chardonnay's we have produced. Wine writer James Halliday gave it 94 points in his 2004 edition of 'The Wine Companion". It is drinking extremely well at four years of age and will continue for several more years.
($30.00/bottle and $330/dozen)

2001 Cabernet Franc (formerly Quarry Red)
..Using wild or indigenous yeast and aging in older barrels has added a lovely savoury character to this wine
($25.00 and $275/dozen)

2002 Pinot Noir
This is a wine which is approaching my benchmark for the variety. The initial impression is one of sweet cherry/plum fruit with briary overtones. Palate is full and with layers of texture and flavour and it finishes dry with soft tannins. Only just released, you will find it on the wine lists of Vue de Monde and Bistro 1 in Melbourne.
($33.00/bottle and $363.00/dozen)

2004 Damask
.. Some Pinot Noir juice found it's way into this years Rose adding a strawberry note to the fruit. Contact with yeast lees has given it a slight Spanish/feral character
($18.00/bottle and $198.00/dozen)

2004 Greenstone
..What a gem. Floral, scented, melon and tropical fruit flavours overlay a crisp, ultra clean finish.
($20.00/bottle and $220.00/dozen)

NV Amreeta (Dessert Wine)
Based on 2004 Chardonnay with back vintages to 1996 adding complexity this luscious mouthful has a long citrus like finish to prevent cloying.
($20.00/bottle (500ml)and $220.00/dozen)

Prices are per bottle in Australian dollars at cellar door.
